Be an ARCHER

Life isn't easy, but it can be less difficult.  Accepting this perspective is essential to finding that less difficult life.

It's up to me -- how I respond to life, its challenges, how I choose to see the people around me.  I've got to take responsibility for myself, my choices, my life.

If I'm curious, I'm open to learning... about myself and about others.  When I'm curious, my judgments are paused.  Curiosity opens my mind and heart to see new perspectives.

Humility is about recognizing there's more to learn... always.  My way may not be the only way; there might be other perspectives worth considering.

Recognizing and respecting the feelings and emotions of others opens the door to connecting authentically.  I can have empathy even when I don't agree.  It's an important step in the process of understanding and connecting.

Respect is an expression of love.  It must first be given to myself before I can give it to others.  Regardless of our differences, I respect you as a fellow human wanting to make life less difficult.
